Chilly Man Cave… No Fan Required!
I’ve talked many times before about the “man cave” and my cycling trainer setup. Three new CTS Climbing DVD’s as well as Global Rides DVD’s continue to be the focus of my training. Our temps in the morning have been in the teens to low twenties and in most cases wind chill has made it colder. So, I’m happy to be pealing in a cold garage (man cave). On this day, you can see my Polar AXN is measuring 43 degrees in the man cave. Needless to say… I don’t need a fan these days to keep me cool. In fact, I start my warm-up pedaling
with a sweatshirt over my jersey. I’ve done pretty well with the man cave/DVD training but I sure am ready for the open road. My wife and I were able to get out for a couple of rides along A1A in Florida just after Christmas. It was awesome! Pedaling alongside my wife that is… the weather was pretty sweet too.
