Whew… What A Climb!
I thought The Cycling Challenge would get a chuckle from this. Let’s call it… Col de Bonsal:
For a little history from my part of the world… the RR tracks you see are part of the old New Hope Valley Railway.
P.S. — The update on the “Across The Pond, Chicken vs. Duck Egg, Cyclosportive Challenge” will come soon.

hehe
look, I am not a climbing snob. 300 feet is 300 feet (it is feet and not metres/yards???)
I have added this climb to my 2009 list …. as it is 1700 feet downhill from my garage
(nice post!)
UNCADAN8– Get back on! It’ll come back to you before you know it. Enjoy the Holidays but don’t let them get the best of you!
WILL– True… you are NOT a climbing snob… I would never think that. You are a climbing enthusiast. Yes, it’s feet. I just thought it was funny because around here there are never any elevation signs. You have to head over to the mountains (3 hours) to see any signs. It was put up near the old New Hope Railroad. They have a few trains for touring and rides. The kids love them. Did you say 1700 fee down to your garage… that’s great! ![]()
Nice climb there. I really miss the bike when I read your blog. Only 6 more months and I’ll be back out on mine. LOL!!

Hehe! Right now, that little bump might give me a run for the money! It’s been way too long sit I have been in the saddle.
