Chasing Our Shadows…
It’s hard not to keep talking about the great weather we’ve had here in Central North Carolina. Then, I read your blogs and hear about the cold and snow already falling. Trust me, I feel very fortunate. With good sun and the temperatures in the upper 50’s on Tuesday… we were good to go with a base layer and arm warmers. I logged 36 miles with my cycling buddies, Brian and Will, from the NC State Cycling Team. We do have rain on the way but for now we”ll just bask in the memory of how great it felt while chasing our shadows.

GROOVER- Thanks! Good laugh… You know I was wondering .. What is your average Summer temp in mid-afternoon where you are?
CHRIS– That’s right… you’re weather is pretty good right now. In fact, I just looked and it’s awesome. Saturday looks windy and a little cooler but WOW… I see a lot of sun and some 70’s. I hope you can get out for some good rides!
Donald, Chris - Brisbane’s temperatures in summer during the day can go up to 35 degrees Celsius but it is quite humid usually, too. Got to drink a lot to stay hydrated.

Yeah, I feel sorry for all my cycling blog buddies in the northern hemisphere, too. For us the time of the year starts now where we have to head out at 5:30 AM ‘coz otherwise it’s getting too hot. (Now this is intended to be a smart arse comment
)
Great photo. Looks like a nice little climb, too.
