An Egg-cellent Ride…

I know… with all that cheese… I should make an omelette. I just couldn’t resist. It was a beautiful weekend here in Central North Carolina. I got out for rides on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Both days were sunny and the temp in the 60’s. I pedal past this sign frequently on one of my favorite routes. Just to the right of the sign is a small (and I mean small) house. Maybe I should call it a hut. Inside are eggs packaged and ready to go. It’s the honor system. You grab your “Fresh Organic Eggs” and leave your money. Only problem… I’m always passing this on my bike.
But that may be a good challenge for me… make it home with a dozen… UNCRACKED!

sunny and 60’s? Nice!
see link for a tourist sign up a climb near me. It says:
“where the hens lay square eggs”
HI CAT– The little “egg house” is just at the Wake Co./Chatham Co. line… next to the New Hope Valley Railroad where you can take train rides. It’s off of
Old US 1 on Beaver creek Road. If you’re not familiar with it let me know and I’ll give you more specific direction.
WILL– I’m sure you have plenty of great sign shots in your archives. I know I’ve seen some good ones on your blog. That’s going to be my fun quest this coming year… to include the fun, weird, and crazy signs I see on my rides.

I would love to know where this is. I am looking for a local seller and can’t seem to find one.
Suggestion - maybe those carriers that are sold in the camping section would work.
Hugs!!!!
