I’m looking for a fixed gear or an old frame to make one and I came across this listing (below). I believe it is the best craigslist posting I’ve ever read! Unfortunately, I think I was too late.

This is an Ex-boyfriends bike and I don’t know nothing about it accept it works and its taking up space. It will be sitting on the corner of Pineview Dr. and Maplewood at 4′oclock today,first come first serve. This is what you get when someone won’t come and get there stuff out of your house.

That’s a good one. I’ll bet there were complaints in the neighbourhood about all the people loitering around.
IAN– That’s what I was wondering. I emailed the lady to see if it was gone that fast. I haven’t gotten a response.
I should of asked if there was any other cycling gear she wanted to celar out.
I’m looking for a 56… I’m not sure about this particular bike the lady was giving away. It must have gone pretty fast… obviously… she never emailed me back. Still, funniest thing I’ve read on craiglist!
Hi Donald, I’m thinking of getting a single speed/fixie, too. Definitely my next bike on the wish-list. Judi got me all inspired with her new ride. Regarding the Craigslist post: I’m wondering how many people hung around the specified corner for hours before the time???

LOL. If you want to ride fixed, you might want to check Ebay for some cool old frames. That’s where we got my Motobecane. I think I paid 110 bucks for the entire bike.
