LAUREL-- Thanks! It does feel good to be pedaling. The break was nice and as I said before I think it was definitely needed. But it's such a good feeling to be "back in the saddle" again.

Every photo finish I see from the races the spokes look like that. I don't know why, but they do.

TOM-- Cheerio to you as well... our new cycling chap. I'll check out your blog soon. I can't remember if I made it to Devon when I spent some time in Oxford during college.
I'll have to look back. I do remember the Ampleforth Pub in my particular neighborhood. People were great and I owe my dart talents to some great teachers there. Cheers!

GROOVER-- Thanks... it did feel pretty good. I'm back from vacation now and look forwaard to more pedeling. Thanks again for the nice words.

JUDI-- Thanks... just snapped it with the cell phone. I must say I took this while rolling along a back country two lane road with no traffic! Glad to be back on the bike.

RON-- Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you by calling you out in this. I just thought you might have some fun insight. No iPhone... just a regular cell phone shot.

ROB2681-- Thanks... TRUE... Powertap would look great on there. Sure thing... I also look forward to that work bonus.

Hey Donald, I think that's a cool pic too. It would look even more sweet w/ one of those Powertap carbon fiber hubs. That's next on my bike toys wishlist. Maybe when the economy turns and we get a nice bonus at work...

Don,

I love how you call me out at the most unexpected times. Cool image there. First question would be - Do you have an iPhone? Its known to produce some crazy images. Frankly, Apple would do much better if they concentrated on just making a camera... like an iCamera.

On a serious note, this is possibly linked to the slow shutter speed of your camera. I'm not a camera expert, but what likely happened was that your device couldn't freeze the fast movement of the rotating wheel and produce a sensible image. I could post a little something on this on my blog in a few days...
