Musical Bike Parts
I ride a Specialized Tarmac Expert and decided to check out the ‘08 models on the Specialized website. Although I just bought the bike this year, I’m sure as fellow cyclists you can all relate to the fact that you’re always in the market for your next bike even when you’re not really in the market. Anyway… I ended up being entertained by Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker Suite”… YES the Specialized version of “The Nutcracker Suite.” But GET THIS… The rendition you’re about to hear is played entirely on bike parts. At the end of the song you will see a list of the bike parts used to make the notes which spin into a perfect tune and pitch. I think Tchaikovsky would have been impressed.

ha – funny post.
I actually helped Trek develop their revolutionary new Madone.
How? Well I bought a Madone in July – this seemed to instantly spur their engineers to develop a new revolutionary version launched soon after.
Just kidding as still very happy with it.
Saw that on you tube.
Did you see the police chase video of a specialized rider? Thats pretty funny too.
Glad you dug the track. I composed this using about 3 different bikes last year: http://createdigitalmusic.com/2006/11/28/nutcracker-suite-played-exclusively-on-bicycle-parts/
